Kota Brown Limestone

The fine grained Kota Brown Limestone adds an elegant and energetic look to the surrounding. Kota Brown Limestone is the material of choice for flooring and wall cladding, paving and facades of buildings. This is mainly because they have the unique properties of limestone. They are very tough, hard wearing, non water-absorbent, non-slip, non-porous and feature excellent stain removability. Kota brown stones can be availed in different finishes such as natural, sawn, sandblasted, brushed, honed and polished as per usage requirement. These stones can be cut to any size in different forms like tiles, slabs, cobbles and block. Blocks and tiles.

Place of Origin : Kota Physical Properties Physically, Limestone are Quite impervious, Hard, Compact, fine to very fine grained calcareous rocks of sedimentary nature.

Loss On Ignition (LOI) -30-32%

Limestone, like marble and other calcareous stones, are referred to as acid sensitive. Calcareous stones are readily dissolved in acid, therefore acidic products should not be used on limestone and marbles.
