Teakwood Sandstone is a fine grained creamish colored sandstone, which bears beautiful patterns formed by brown veins throughout the surface. The brownish color lends a wooden finish similar to that of aged wood. This sandstone gives a luxurious feel upon being used with sandblasting / bush hammered surface. Owing to the soft texture and extraordinarily smooth surface, the teakwood sandstone does not take good polish but is used extensively in making garden ornaments. These stones are also ideal for interior as well as exterior flooring in residences and commercial places. Jaislmer Yellow Sandstone is used especially in exterior cladding in sea shore buildings due to acid & thermal resistant properties. The moisture laden saline winds have negligible effect on Jaislmer Yellow Stone. The subtle yellow color of this stone has made it much popular in European region. It is a perfect choice for adding a lively touch to the regal buildings or for large landscaping projects. Based on the percentage of constituent minerals the color varies in the form of brown, violet and sometimes reddish veins. It is just because of the variation in colors that this stone has been named as Rainbow. These sandstones can used for using for variety of architectural purposes such as wall cladding, paving, etc. Rainbow sandstones find special use in landscaping project as a functional garden decor.
